Work begins on Cwmgors RFC club.

Building work is under way to create a Improved facility at Cwmgors RFC.

The Cwmgors RFC project is a step closer now that the first phase of the grant has began in changing the heating boiler at the club.

The project which is being funded by a £50k grant from WREN's FCC Community Action Fund, will provide to start with a new boiler.

Keith Davies Club Secretary of Cwmgors RFC is excited that the project is starting to take shape.

He says :- " It's great to see our vision for this vital community facility moving closer to reality. We are extremely grateful for the funding WREN has given to us and we're looking forward for when the boiler is installed."

WREN is a not for profit business that awards grants for community, conservation and heritage projects from funds donated by FCC Environment through the Landfill Communities Fund.

Meleri Jones WREN Grant Manager says :- "The improvements will make a great difference to the building which extensively used by the community. We look forward to the work being completed and benefiting all users".
